Angelin & Glenn met each other in Australia. They are both Indonesians who lived abroad in Singapore since a young age. So when it was time to choose a place to get married, they couldn’t just stick to one place! Instead, they chose three different places! They will be having a ceremony and reception in Bali, Indonesia and a dinner reception in Singapore later this year.
But before that, they decided to do the legal ceremony here in Melbourne and invited their close friends to witness their special moment. They chose Albert Lake as the location where he had a barbecue after the signing. When they asked me to be the photographer for the day, I happily said yes.

Carla & Chris pretty much lives in a modern fairytale love story. Carla was born in Spain and later grew up in Australia. Chris is an American boy. They met each other in their teens… on a boat cruise. They fell in love and decided to keep in touch by writing letters – LETTERS! – to each other. Years went by, and they lost touch. However, I did promise a modern love story. Carla & Chris found each other again toward the end of last year on Facebook.
Few months later, during Carla’s visit to the US, Chris proposed to her. They were married in February this year and I was the lucky photographer to document their happily ever after.

Catherine & Alvin joined hands in marriage earlier this May 2010. I had the honour of capturing their beautiful moments with friends & family during reception.
Apart from heartwarming speeches from their respective siblings, they were also engaged in an interesting game where Catherine, blindfolded, had to guess who – out of the few chosen men – was actually her husband. She had to try to listen carefully as each of them spoke with a burger in their mouth. She guessed correctly, and they lived happily ever after! :)

I love it when couples enjoyed every moment of their big day. Cecilia & Jeromy had a blast during their wedding, and whilst I wasn’t the official photographer for the day, I too enjoyed taking some beautiful photographs.
Getting ready for your wedding is a huge event in itself, from having your make up & hair done, to getting dressed in your perfect gown, to spending some quality time with your bridesmaids. In Cecilia’s case, her 2 bridesmaids flew over to Melbourne from 2 different countries. So whilst Cecilia was preparing herself in the morning before her ceremony, she asked me to photograph the process of her getting ready – and I was more than happy to do so…
