Veronika and Jason are one of those relaxed couples. They planned everything right in the last minute, either for the surprise factor or because that’s how they roll. When Jason messaged me on a Thursday few months before their wedding to ask if I could take their engagement photoshoot, I said, yes sure. When I asked him when, his reply was: “this Sunday”.
Without much time to plan, we decided to do the photoshoot in the city; as Melbourne city is one of the most beautiful in the world (I may be biased).

Did you remember Cecilia & Jeromy’s beach engagement photo session earlier this year? Well, there’s more to it, as promised!
On their wedding day, Cecilia & Jeromy had a memorable day that many would remember; they were married on the day Melbourne had the huge thunderstorm / hail / flood in March. Their plan to get their images taken around Melbourne before reception had to be scraped. Luckily enough though, during our engagement session, Cecilia & Jeromy had asked me to photograph them in their wedding gown. So here’s part 2 of their engagement photoshoot…

They say opposites attract. Harry & Maureen (friends call her Momo) are both lovely people with great characters, but yet they are different. Whilst Momo is very organised, Harry “goes with the flow” – and in the process, forgets where he leaves most of his things. When Harry visited Momo in Melbourne for their small marriage registry/celebration, they picked some great outdoor locations to capture their love for this photoshoot. We went from their usual date spot Botanical Garden to the Southgate area for lunch, and then Docklands for a nice walk on a beautiful sunny day…

Cecilia & Jeromy are getting married this weekend, almost a year after Jeromy proposed to Cecilia by the beach during Easter 2009. They didn’t get to return to the special beach where Cecilia said “yes” for the pre-wedding photoshoot, but we visited a beach at Mornington earlier this year for a fun pre-wedding photo session.
It was scorching hot – temperature in the high 30s – but that did not dampen Cecilia & Jeromy’s spirits at all. Cecilia had her makeup done in the morning before we made our way to Mornington for some fun in the sun. It was joyous to see how much the couple enjoyed themselves throughout the day…

Marcella & Adrian agreed to take pre-wedding photographs with me few months before their wedding. Lala (Marcella’s nickname) is fun and outgoing, whilst Adrian is laidback and a good sport. So the two combined makes it a very easy job for me!
Lala wanted to do something that she and Adrian would usually do when they were out on a date; something casual and fun. We chose 2 destinations for the photoshoot: St Kilda’s Acland Street and Chapel Street. Here’s me following them on their date…
