Joshua Lee’s Portrait: Walking Down Graffiti Lane

Leaving a country that you’ve loved and lived in for a number of years is always tough. Joshua Lee studied Pharmacy and worked in the industry for a few years in Melbourne. When he decided to move to Hongkong, Joshua asked me to take photographs of him around the city of Melbourne.

The day was rather gloomy. We chose Flinder’s Hosier Lane for the shoot. Hosier Lane is the little alley more commonly known as the graffiti lane. Josh’s monotone outfit contrasted well with the colourful background!

Fun facts: The look of Hosier Lane changes from time to time. Every single time I re-visit the place, at least several new graffiti have taken place over the old ones. Worth the visit!
